Christina Seilern has been invited to talk at the 'Design on the Edge' session of the May Design Series. The event will take place on Monday 20 May 2013 at Excel London.

Not only is it ‘a super place to be,’ but provides the necessary shelter from the harsh climate of Eastern Africa with oversized timber roof.

The journey from the bright open landscape to through the shaded timber clad intermediate spaces between inside and outside to the rocky almost ‘cavernous’ interior provides a variety spaces for the occupant to enjoy and inhabit.

Overall, a ‘wow’ project worthy of WAN’s House of the Year Award."

Studio Seilern Architects were commissioned to design a 31 hectare waterfront masterplan for Duval Properties Ltd in Abuja, Nigeria. We have just returned from Abuja where we presented the Master Plan to the chief planning officer and his team which was very positively received.

Sforza Seilern Architects, an artistic collaboration between Studio Seilern Architects and Muzia Sforza, completed their first African project: a house on a rock. The 1’500sm building is situated atop a granite rock overlooking a large man-made dam, or reservoir for the extensive surrounding farmland. The area is, to say the least, breathtaking and awe-inspiring, and deserved a piece of architecture that is equally awe-inspiring.

Delta Dawn is well on her way to becoming the vision our client had. This project was great fun to be involved with from the outset and we're delighted with the progress.

We are delighted to discover Kensington Residence has reached the next stage of the WAN Award for Residential Interiors. Our sculptural stairway is at the core of this building and visually connects all three levels. Let’s hope we achieve the overall award!
