EXPERIENCED OFFICE MANAGER

 

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our rapidly expanding studio. This is a key role which offers an opportunity to grow with us and to take ownership of the day-to-day management of our practice. You will be a mature and highly organised self-starter.

 

Duties will include, but not limited to:

 

Administration

  • PA duties to Principal – managing diary, travel etc.

  • Travel Arrangements

  • Managing and maintaining filing systems

  • Managing the office calendar and meeting room bookings

  • Ensuring company policies are maintained

 

Accounts

  • Monthly financial reporting and analysis

  • Liaising with the accountant and bookkeeper; preparing documents for VAT returns

  • Client invoicing and updating of billing schedule

  • Coordinating outsourced payroll

  • Coordinating staff expenses

  • Making online payments to HMRC

 

Reception

  • Answering incoming calls

  • Greeting visitors and preparing meeting rooms

  • Dealing with outgoing and incoming deliveries/post

 

Office Maintenance

  • Liaising with the property manager and maintenance staff

  • Ordering stationery and office supplies

  • IT: managing printers and printer supplies, keeping software licences and maintenance contracts up to date; liaising with external IT support

 

HR Support

  • Coordinating staff holiday requests and managing the office holiday calendar

  • Reviewing job applications, setting up interviews, drafting offers and employment contracts

  • Requirements

 

You must have previous experience working as an Office Manager, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be highly organised and be able to carry out tasks and prioritise your time efficiently. PA Experience would be advantageous.

 

You must be an experienced user of Microsoft Office and Sage. Knowledge of InDesign would also be an advantage.

EXPERIENCED PART 2 / PART 3 ARCHITECT

 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Part 2 / Part 3 Architect to join our team.

 

The Role

We are expanding and have an increasing number of exciting projects, at various stages and in various construction sectors. We have recently been appointed for a significant residential project in London which involves both a new build residence and the refurbishment and extension of a Grade 2 Listed property.  We are now urgently seeking an experienced Architect/Architectural Assistant to join the team.

 

Requirements

  • You will be an experienced user of AutoCAD, Rhino and Adobe CS.

  • You must have previous experience working on residential projects in London, preferably Grade 2 Listed.
