AIA New York Roundtable

On the 7th of December, Christina Seilern and the principals of Guerin Glass and Paik Architecture took part in an AIA roundtable discussion at the Center for Architecture in New York. The event focused on their practices and a reflection of how early career experiences have shaped their professional trajectory.

The evening began with a series of biographical short films introducing the three architectural
practices. Our segment showcases key projects by Studio Seilern, tracing how Christina’s early work with Rafael Viñoly and the experience of establishing RVA London set the stage for finding her own voice and visual language as an architect.

Following the screening, a roundtable discussion, moderated by Andrea Lamberti, Partner at RVA, reflected upon their shared experiences and career development, inviting the three architects to an open dialogue and ultimately explored how an architect discovers his or her unique language and design volition.
