El Gouna Conference and Cultural Centre featured in Dezeen
Studio Seilern’s Egypt based El Gouna Conference and Cultural Centre project has been featured on Dezeen.
El Gouna is a new resort town in Egypt, situated on The West coast of the Red Sea, approximately 25km North West of Hurghada International Airport. Thanks to its mild climate, El Gouna hosts many internationally acclaimed cultural and sports events throughout the year.
“We want the visitor to feel awe and wonder when they arrive,” said Seilern. “The scale of the colonnade is counteracted by the softness of the internal cladding of the colonnades.”
